Hitachi Construction Machinery

First for flexibility

April 19, 2018

Fabio Savioni was so happy with the versatile ZX145W-3 wheeled excavator that he agreed a deal to buy the latest -6 model in about ten minutes!

“We have to be able to react quickly to our customers’ demands and often have to be ready to work within 24 hours,” explains the director of Savioni Attilio SA. “The ZX145W-6 is fast, smooth and precise, with excellent visibility and space for our operators to do their work. In addition, they really like the Hitachi machines, due to the provision of the hydraulic system and the comfort of the cab.”

ZX145W-6 – key specifications:

  • engine rated power: 105kW
  • operating weight: 15,000 – 17,200kg
  • bucket capacity (ISO heaped): 0.19 – 0.66m3

The whole package

The latest addition to the company’s fleet takes the current Hitachi line-up to 14, including mini and compact, medium crawler and wheeled excavators. The ZX145W-6 was supplied by Switzerland’s authorised Hitachi dealer, Probst Maveg, with a full service agreement and extended warranty programme covering three years/4,000 hours.

“We have a strong relationship with Probst Maveg, especially with the Osogna branch, who are easy to reach,” says Fabio. “There’s never been any discussion about where we should buy our next piece of construction machinery. The whole package is the most important aspect of our ownership of Hitachi construction machinery.”
