Ever imagined what it would be like to work on a job site in the future? Completing excavation tasks in half the time, with exceptional precision and minimal effort? Well, imagine no more, because Hitachi has now introduced its first ICT hydraulic excavator with machine control in Europe.
The ZX210X-6 will enable projects to be completed 50% faster than with a standard excavator, thanks to the semi-automatic operation of the boom and arm. The bucket angle is maintained so slope finishing can be done with fewer passes, and the edge of the bucket is controlled to prevent over digging. No reworking required.
The machine has responsive sensors on the body, boom, arm and bucket, which work in perfect harmony with the unique hydraulic control unit. When combined with Hitachi’s renowned hydraulics, the ZX210X-6 is one of the most accurate machines of its kind on the market.
The easy to use 10-inch touchscreen monitor in the cab operates like a smartphone. The display shows numerical information, work modes and settings, and hi-res 3D graphics. You can rotate the view of the machine, zoom in and out, and see several viewpoints simultaneously on a split screen to monitor progress in more detail.
Compatible with BIM, the ZX210X-6 will play an important role in Hitachi’s ICT solutions. These are designed to connect people, information, processes and technology to create safe and productive working environments.
