Technical Support Engineer – Germany

Is your strongpoint delivering excellent technical and field support to customers? Are you technically well-educated and experienced in our branch? And do you like to interact with customers face to face as well as from the office? Then this is the job you want!


You will provide as a helpdesk function for dealer handling technical correspondence, supporting or assistance. Also give field support to dealers and give instructions on new products. You will help on finding correct spare parts for the machines and give detailed parts information on demand (sample: exact dimensions).

In case of issues you will be troubleshooting and corresponding on technical questions or inquiries from dealers and Sales dept. You will also coordinate modifications and advice on sales/technical information for current/new models to dealers and end-users. You will give advice and instruction of the HCM-systems at the dealer locations.

There is also a large communication component with several institutions, such as the HCME Engineering & Product Regulation Department, TÜV Germany, TÜV Japan and the Kraftfahrt Bundesambt (KBA), concerning road homologation issues.

Your profile

  • Bachelor in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
  • Willing to travel
  • Experience in a similar role in a the Capital Goods Industry, preferably with earthmoving equipment
  • Excellent communication & analytical skills
  • Good knowledge and MS Office
  • Good knowledge of the German and English language (spoken and written)

This position is classified in scale 11/K, minimum € 39.000,-, maximum € 66.000,- gross annual salary including holiday allowance and guaranteed bonus.
