The Hitachi buy-back scheme was an important factor in MJ Hickey’s decision to invest in Hitachi wheel loaders for the first time.
The company, based in the north-east of England and Yorkshire, provides operational contract management and plant hire services to customers across the UK.
It specialises in quarrying, bulk earthmoving, landfill, site restoration and environmental projects. MJ Hickey currently has a fleet of more than 120 units, including articulated dump trucks, excavators, wheel loaders, bulldozers and compaction rollers.
When you purchase a ZW-6 wheel loader, you could be eligible for the new buy-back scheme! It guarantees an increased residual value, as well as a reduced total cost of ownership and fixed monthly costs of your Hitachi wheel loader.
This is available for models ranging from the ZW150 to ZW550. To qualify, your machine must be in good working order, less than five years old and have worked a maximum of 2,000 hours per year.
The two Hitachi wheel loaders were supplied by Hitachi Construction Machinery (UK) Ltd. (HCMUK).
The first ZW310-6, fitted with 4.5m3 general purpose bucket, was delivered in 2018 and is working in one of the country’s largest limestone quarries, located in Leicester.
The second model was delivered in October 2019 with a 6m3 high-tip bucket and is used for bulk handling at a site in Wales.
